Building trusting relationships with the designers is critical and following the entire design process while engaging with the general and sub contractors is very important to my success.

Joined this exciting start up company to launch 2 World Class brand diagnostic tests into the Eye Care industry. Within 6 months of launching, the company was acquired by Valeant Pharmaceuticals and my position was eliminated. Our primary focus was to trail blaze the industry with transformative diagnostic tools. One test is to identify if the deeper rooted cause of dry eye disease is connected to auto-immune disease. The other test is genetic testing for patients who have a family history of macular degeneration. I worked with entire staff including Dr.'s and technicians. Primary goal was focused on creating a protocol for implementation of the diagnostic testing to drive more business and offer the best patient care.

Optos is a leader in it's space of retinal imaging devices. The Optomap allows the Optometrist to see virtually the entire retina without the need to dilate the patient initially. I was responsible for contract negotiations, leases, selling on multi-touch points and then following up with training the entire staff on how to discuss this as an option with the patient as well as how to clinically interpret the images.
