With a staff of 2.5 FTE’s, managed and produced all internal and external financial reporting for this $12 million non-profit organization. Coordinated and oversaw completion of all renovations and new construction of owned facilities. Supervised operation of all administrative functions and electronic communications (cell phones, personal computers, etc.). Negotiated all property purchases and leases. Developed Request for Proposals (RFP’s) for purchased services. Developed business plans for new services. Hired into this position to expand the new Small Business Consulting Group. Served as Temporary Controller on an as-needed and on-going basis for the accounting departments of a range of small to medium client companies. Specific client assignments included: • In two-week period, collected and organized all relevant information to produce 6 months of financial statements. Implemented computerized accounts payable. Supervised and trained internal personnel on all functions of accounting department and on use of existing software. Continued to monitor and review month end processing and closing.• Supported the implementation of a computerized accounting system: loaded all data, compiled and produced 7 months of financial statements. Trained internal personnel on use of new software.• Reconciled all cash and payroll accounts for a large manufacturer for a 9-month period, coinciding with an accounting software transition.

Managed all incoming cash, payment of all vendor invoices, payroll processing, payroll tax return preparation, general ledger balancing and financial statement preparation. Participated in the preparation and compiling of data for profit plans and forecasts.• Dramatically increased the accuracy of financial information and the understanding of such information to the management and partner group.• Participated in the complete restructuring of the Firm’s financial reporting system and the transition of internal accounting departments for 7 offices to 1 regional location. Trained new personnel for regional office. Assisted with overflow during implementation and start-up of this new office.
