As a senior leadership role reporting to the Director of Regulation and a key member of the Investment Committee my key accountabilities and responsibilities were: - Leading a team of specialists to ensure that capital investment is allocated, programmed and prioritised to deliver targeted performance improvements and meeting all legal and regulatory obligations. - Accountable for all regulatory reporting of capital investment to Ofwat ensuring compliance with current regulatory accounting guidelines. - Accountable for the ongoing prioritisation, business planning and programming of funds for release to delivery teams balancing emerging cost pressures, corporate priorities whilst meeting our commitments and driving out savings to meet efficiency targets. - Preparing repots to the Board and Investment Committee on the operation, prioritisation, business planning and governance of the capital investment programme.

Leading a team of data analyst and technicians to manage the overall capital programme for the Asset Management Business Unit. Key accountabilities and responsibilities were: - Prioritisation of the risks to be promoted into the delivery programme within allowed allocations to meet internal and external targets using cost benefit assessment. - Working with Asset Planning managers to create annual business plans and present to the Board Investment Committee for approval and then monitor against throughout the year. - Provide accurate management information to the Leadership teams to monitor investment programme balancing cost pressures and reprioritisation and delivery reprofiling to identify risks to delivery of the business plan.

Leading a team working with wastewater planning and delivery colleagues to develop the Periodic Review submission to Ofwat for the next 5 year capital programme. Key accountabilities and responsibilities were: - Work with senior leaders within the waste water business unit to identify the proposed outputs and activities that require capital investment as part of the strategic submission whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting guidelines. - Responsible for the completion of all capital submission data to Ofwat to support the delivery of the proposed Asset Management Plan with supporting cost benefit assessment data and ensure these were successfully audited externally. - Ensured the final determination AMP programme agreed with Ofwat was documented and clearly communicated to the wider business to ensure all operation performance targets, regulatory output and activities and allocated funding were understood and could be monitored against over the AMP.

Leading a small team within the Regulatory Investment business Unit to monitor and report on the performance of the wastewater capital programme. Key accountabilities and responsibilities were: - Creating accurate reports to be run monthly on the current delivery programme by investment category. - Support the prioritisation process within wastewater with cost benefit information used for ranking investment choices. - Provide monitoring data to the Board Investment Committee on the wastewater programme to support overall programme decisions.
