Areas of specialisation and key projects include:• Ensure all company and market policies and procedures are being followed by all team members.• Working closely with the Compliance department in production and implementation of new policies and procedures in line with changes in the market or law.• Regular file reviews to ensure policy and procedures are being followed together with working alongside external auditors to ensure best practice. Addressing any issues that arise.• Provide technical support and guidance to team members together with assisting in the resolution on more complex issues.• Provide technical support and guidance to Producing and Placing Brokers for the set up and running of Binders, Lineslips, Open Market and Treaties• Handle a wide range of claims both Insurance and Reinsurance from first advice to closing both using ECF/IMR and face to face broking including undertaking account reconciliations.• Handle a wide range of technical accounts including Slip/Endorsement preparation, Debit/Credit Notes, and EOC’s together with submission of premium within SDD to the relevant markets using the IMR.• Production of Statistical Information and other presentation material required to support the book of business. • Authorisation of payments to third parties including working closely with the Accounts department in reconciliation of funds and other accounting issues.• Production of monthly reports to the Board of Directors including attendance to Board Meetings.• Experience within most classes of business not limited to Property, Liability, Excess of Loss, Aviation, and Sports Liability• Experience within most territories not limited to UK, North America, Europe, Canada, and Far East.• Use of IMR, ATLAS, Brokasure, BAR’s, Crystal, Lineage DA SATS.
