Proactive PR for the Social Housing sector. raising the profile of housing organisations on a local and national level by promoting positive activities and campaigns designed to improve, enhance and maintain the quality of people's lives. Writing engaging and informative press releases and targeting appropriate media. Relationship building: housing organisation staff, its customers, media and third party organisations from contractors to Councillors. Coordinating events between housing organisations, customers and third party organisations and creating visually interesting images for media use. Understanding organisations, their brand, their ethos, and maintaining an appropriate and strong social media presence.

Working with in-house design team to create bespoke incentive packages for corporate clients such as Renault, Bank of Scotland, Capita, including brochures, scratchcards, dedicated website or intranet pages. Copywriting for all materials. Print management. Working from concept stage through to print and delivery.

Promoting, organising and managing all conference activity and weddings/events at the hotel when it was taken over by a private company as The Gladstone Hotel. As one of the largest hotels in the city centre, I was responsible for selling conference rooms, booking and managing events and meetings. This included chairing weekly head of department meetings with 12 members of staff, working outside office hours when an event was taking place and organising Christmas events such as banquet parties and entertainment for 300 people.
