I worked with an IiP assessor and Senior Managers to develop a strategy and I drove the project. I wrote the HR section of the business plan, implemented a new performance review system, introduced employee of the month scheme, an improved communication strategy, the employee engagement survey, a management development programme (from a training needs analysis), a succession planning process and NVQ qualifications.• Developed a learning strategy and worked with others off-site to ensure statutory and developmental training was completed in timescales. I managed, oversaw and maintained all Training records and plans.• I introduced, developed and facilitated assessment days which significantly improved the quality of appointments.• Was responsible for managing the training, recruitment and uniform budgets.• TUPE - I managed the process of two TUPE situations locally ensuring they were handled correctly and positively. This involved liaising with employee representatives, managing the consultation process and supporting the change afterwards. In total approximately 50 employees transferred employer.• HR Policies - I wrote the recruitment, sickness absence, unauthorised absence and dress code policies.• HR project work - This included updating the Employee Handbook, I worked with Managers to rewrite the job descriptions for all roles and that they were used appropriately.
