In the last 24 months the company went through important changes after securing a $10M investment from a European multinational company, Solvay Specialty Polymers. Recently the bulk of its operations were transferred to Taiwan; process which I facilitated until its completion. In addition to my keen interest in Science & Technology and Information & Communication Technologies applied to education and business, I have always had a passion for public policy and how good policies can improve the quality of life of individuals and offer valuable opportunities for people to choose to better their lives. I have worked as an Education and Policy Consultant with the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) in an initiative spearheaded by the Organization of American States for its 35 Member States. I have personally visited and worked with partners in over 15 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean and Africa from 2004 to 2008.
