Supporting adults and young people with a mental health diagnosis.Duties include Ensuring all essential client paperwork are up to datesuch as risk assessments, daily records, care plans, SMART actionsand any other professional paperwork that need completing.Liaising with a variety of professionals both internal and external suchas Salford Probation services, community mental health team (Earlyintervention, Crowell house etc.), Salford Safeguarding team,Commissioning team, Drug services (Achieve) etc. Doing one to oneassessment with clients, ensuring that their daily support needs arebeing met. Attending professional meetings and advocating on behalfof clients. Raising safeguarding concerns when necessary, managingchallenging behaviour and promoting independent living skills.Working with clients on probation and supporting them to court,character referencing and writing pre-sentencing reports.

Engaging with primary school children with challengingbehaviour. Teaching and supporting them with class work.Taking children on activities and engaging them with one-to-one interaction. Reporting and recording the progress ofstudents.

Observing and caring for both young adults and adults withchallenging behaviour. Taking care of their personal needs andadministering medication. Taking service users on activitiesand engaging them with one-to-one interaction. Additionallymanaging expenses and attending important appointments withservice users.

Observing and assisting young people with housing. Teachingyoung people essential life skills such as cooking. Enabling andempowering young people’s development. Activelyencouraging young people to work on their mental health.Ensuring that all young people are receiving the best quality ofcare necessary.

Engaging with young people and educating by teaching themvocational courses such as hair and beauty. Running sessionsand teaching young people about important issues affectingyoung people in society. Also mentoring and being a positiverole model for young females.
