Oversee growing portfolio of graduate business and economics program in collaboration with faculty program leaders and other stakeholders. Responsible for program strategy, finances, and quality. Manage faculty administration activities in collaboration with the dean and department chairs, creating new faculty development opportunities and supporting faculty at all career stages.

• Able to bring together diverse interdisciplinary groups to engage in critical conversations. I currently co-chair a school-wide Strategic Thinking Steering Group charged by our new dean with engaging faculty, staff, students and alumni in envisioning the school's future. I design processes that are inclusive, listen respectfully, and explore differences constructively and creatively.• Strength in designing and implementing processes that engage faculty to work on academic program goals. I led a complete review of our MPH concentration curriculum, the development/implementation of a competency model, and led preparation for initial CAHME accreditation, granted in spring 2015. I have also led a 2-year improvement process in our PhD curriculum, qualifying process, and operating procedures, resulting in the development of a new 3-course research methods sequence to also be used by other SPH programs.• Leadership in re-designing departmental processes, including closer management of adjunct faculty, new resources to support faculty and students in the advising process, and more energized outreach to HPM alumni. I initiated an active and engaged HPM advisory board that has increased connections with the field of practice and policy. • Collaboration in faculty development programs and processes; I served on the interdisciplinary (medical, dental, public health schools) committee that conceived of, designed, and selected the first class for the BU medical campus early career development program.• Skilled at facilitating connections; I have collaborated with colleagues in General Internal Medicine, the Section of Geriatrics, multiple VA HSR&D centers, and other members of AHRQ’s Accelerating Change and Transformation in Organizations and Networks (ACTION) program to pursue and conduct research projects. I am a connector – I see relationships between the skills and interests of different individuals – and bring them together to see what new ideas might emerge.
