Mission Labs was acquired by Gamma and therefore I was TUPE'd across to work at Gamma in May 2023. In this role I am responsible for the following:* Managing the end to end recruitment process of all sections of the business (GammaLabs, technology, sales, finance, marketing, Europe etc). * Line managing the small recruitment team and ensuring that our recruitment process is fast, slick and transparent during every step. * Onboarding and off-boarding of staff (managing the induction process and conducting exit interviews + analysing that data).* Monthly reporting of all recruitment data.* I head up people support and lead the monthly All Hands meeting at Gamma Labs, as well as organise and oversee the company's social and technical events. * Refining Gamma's EVP with the recruitment team.

The role of an internal recruiter at Cake Solutions varied from day to day. The majority of the roles I recruited for were technical positions and focused on candidates abilities with the JVM based language Scala or in their skills with infrastructure as code (DevOps). Cake is well known in this space and my role within this was to review the CVs of the candidates to ensure their technical suitability. I then screened them via phone or skype, to ascertain whether their personality fitted within Cake’s ethos and to manage their expectations, all within a timescale to ensure candidates and the company were not kept waiting. I also handled more specialised roles which required the resourcing of suitable candidates and then managing these candidates throughout the pipeline.As part of encouraging candidates into the pipeline, I created adverts and put them out into the public domain and into areas which were most likely to be seen via a technical audience. I have also had the opportunity to travel across Europe and the US in order to ‘spread the word’ of Cake Solutions and increase the number of applicants in our pipeline. As an addition to my role as an Internal Recruiter, I also managed Cake’s social media profiles using Hubspot. This involved the scheduling of key blogs and pushing these out through the various social media channels in order to get the most views and increase Cake’s reputation.

I worked at Big Cloud Recruitment as a Recruitment Researcher speciclising in the technology sector in Germany. I am a fluent German speaker so had the chance to speak to candidates in both English and German. I headhunted for a number of large clients and would recruit Data Scientists, Big Data Engineers etc.
