Westminster Stone are the UK's leading manufacturer of reproduction paving & landscaping materials. I became involved with them when they won the coveted licence to produce a range for the National Trust. I helped them launch the National Trust Landscape Collection at Glee 2011 with a press launch & follow-up PR campaign within the trade and consumer gardening press.During my time with Westminster Stone I have project managed their re-brand which has included developing & launching their new website, creating and executing their advertising strategy, digital marketing, design of all promotional material and social media.

Lewis Alderson & Co design beautiful bespoke kitchens, utilities, boot-rooms & bedrooms. My role is to support the launch of their first Showroom in Hampshire and gain ongoing PR interest through the Home Interest sector and local press. Update their marketing & promotional materials and set up a cohesive social media & online presence. I have created notable PR in national titles including The Sunday Times, Homes & Gardens and most recently the Wall Street Journal, as well as within local press and online. I wrote the content for their new website which launched March 2016. During 2017 I have set up a number of case studies with leading magazines & Lewis Alderson were named as Homes & Gardens Dream kitchen for September 2017

My brief is to gain PR within consumer and trade media to build awareness of Clear's brand credentials and iconic projects with particular emphasis on raising the profile of Founder Melanie Clear. I have promoted Melanie's work through Nationals, consumer & trade press, most notably The Times, Grand Designs, KBB and securing Melanie as a regular contributor to high end architectural magazinefeatures

SOMM provide a comprehensive programme of post-graduate courses for physiotherapists, doctors and other musculoskeletal health professionals throughout the UK and overseas. My role was to develop their digital and social media strategy to maximise course attendance and grow their Brand profile.

Lomas&Lomas use their own lifestyle photography to create patterns for fabrics and wallpapers plus a range of beautiful hand-made interior pieces such as cushions, lampshades and kitchen textiles. I am working to build their profile amongst bloggers and interior press and increase their distribution channels.

GoodLife hired me to produce a PR strategy for their brand of vegetarian food products. My role was to build a relationship with the vegetarian/vegan community through Blogs and events and encourage consumer magazines to give more prominence to vegetarian convenience foods.

Project Manager at this small marketing & design agency (maternity leave). I looked after all existing clients, fulfilling briefs for promotional material, website development, newsletters and email marketing campaigns. I was the main liaison for freelancers, creative designers, printers, web design and financial control.

Haus are the sole importers for premium cookware brands - Wusthof, Scanpan, Rosle, Gefu & Revol. I worked freelance across their Brands setting a PR and advertising strategy in place for both consumer and trade. This included designing and rewriting their company literature, creating press releases, setting up a database of press contacts and imagery, introducing their products to editors and writing for the main trade publications and websites. I gained over £200k worth of PR during my time with Haus including articles in the Telegraph, Independent, Times, Homes & Gardens, Elle Deco and Good Housekeeping.I was also responsible for their consumer advertising strategy across key food & home interest titles including rate negotiations, creative planning and post campaign analysis.

Time Inc are the UK's largest consumer publishing company. I worked across their Southbank Portfolio of women's monthly titles including Marie Clare, Homes & Gardens, Woman & Home & Ideal Home. Working throughout the UK, I negotiated advertising within the magazines with key advertising agencies and direct clients. Adept at cross selling and group selling opportunities encompassing other parts of the business including weekly titles, digital platforms and bespoke creative. As well as my sales role I was also the key Events Co-ordinator for the Regional Office, organising magazine launches, shopping events, formal dinners, Christmas & Halloween parties and film premiere's for clients and agencies.I accepted voluntary redundancy in November 2009 and with my husband set up our own Advertising & Marketing company MIM Ltd.

I commissioned professionals to write books, journals and series publications in the field of Civil Engineering. Holding the pivotal role within the publishing framework, I was responsible for identifying new publishing opportunities, approaching suitable authors, contract negotiations, content and deadline planning. I oversaw every stage of the publishing process through editing, production, creative, marketing & post publication sales.I undertook marketing and events co-ordination including book launches, key note speeches & formal entertaining.

Accountancy Books are the publishing arm of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. I worked across a range of their titles encompassing tax legislation, auditing and accounting, carrying out quantitative & qualitative research to determine new publishing opportunities, identify key authors and develop new series publications.I commissioned the monthly Accountants and Tax Digest series, signing up new & existing authors, ensuring that content and deadlines were met. Overseeing the editing & production process through to publication & marketing.
