Previously worked as a Marketing Event Manager for Deloitte, planning and executing marketing programs to support their major Alliances. Events planned were high profile, involving C-Level executives both internally and externally. Events varied in size, scope and complexity. Number of attendees ranged from 45,000 to under 100 hosted at hospitality events, tradeshows and custom tailored customer programs.Responsibility was to consult with senior executives to identify and select events to sponsor that met business unit objectives. Duties involved managing the entire scope of the event including:• Marketing - developing and implementing event marketing tactics • Event Management – negotiating contracts, venue and staff selection, onsite management• Budgeting - tracking expenditures, overall budget management, ROI reporting• Staff Management – hiring and managing logistical team • Sales - creating lead generation tactics and outlining plan for follow-up • Process Improvement – review strategies, design plans for improving efficiency and reducing errors
