My proudest moment, and greatest accomplishments was in becoming a professional soccer player 12 years ago…until everything changed, when I became a father - it really made me realize that there is more to life than this beautiful game we play. It’s no wonder when I took the time to understand who I am beyond the pitch, that Family was the MOST important value to me. I do everything for my family, they bring me joy and motivate me to be best in everything I do in life. Other values that fuel me are Passion, Respect, Honesty and Commitment, I never give up on any task or any person. Others have said my greatest strengths are my positive energy, relentless optimism, that I am someone you always count on and trust. I bring a fierce competitive spirt and these character traits to the game, and one day will do the same in the business world. I am driven every day to be better and to learn and adapt. My family extends to my teammates, I love the camaraderie, the competitiveness of every day training, the challenges we go through, and I love winning but also learning when we lose. There is always something to take out of both a victory and a defeat. My ultimate goal moving forward is to keep playing soccer and competing every day at the highest level. I plan on playing several more years, but when the time comes to retire from sport, I know where I am going. My Purpose/ Mission after my MLS career is to leverage my strong communication skills and natural empathy, to teach, develop, and motivate youth soccer players to be the best version of themselves in sports and in life. I will become a coach and give back to the game that has given me so much. I am confident in saying you that it would be very difficult to find a more positive, energetic leader with a strong drive to lead and develop players through the sharing of my experiences and relentless optimism and trusting nature. I look forward to that day. For now, my teammates and I at Inter Miami have goals and much to accomplish this season!
