• Developed a custom application for a Fortune-500 media client that has optimized their advertising budgets across thousands of businessscenarios to promote TV shows and their streaming services. Throughout this project, I collaborated alongside a small team of data scientists,data engineers, and software engineers, sharing code and providing code reviews via GitHub.• Built the machine learning infrastructure and programmed a greedy optimization algorithm for our custom application using Python and itsopen source libraries, such as scikit-learn and numpy.• Refactored an inherited data pipeline using Redshift SQL, Python pandas, and database design best-practices with a data engineer to reducethe labor and compute costs for data ingestion from 4-6 weeks to 2-3 days.• Architected and managed the development of a new ETL pipeline by applying agile principles, planning sprints, and tracking progress usingJIRA to reach project milestones on-time.• Evaluated an A/B Test for a retail client to quantify the effectiveness of providing discounts to their customers.
