I am transitioning from Retail Management to an Agile Scrum Master. Many of the skills I have developed in my 10 years of retail management are foundational for creating a highly effective and mature team. As a retail manager I balanced store policy with the needs of our associates and our customers, solving problems in real-time to keep the store productive and safe. My role included operations oversight, customer & associate well-being, efficient supply chain flow, and immediately addressing and correcting any disruption. I used skills like prioritization, creative problem-solving, and associate intervention-training to maintain a well-balanced work environment.
