Concerned about the state and safety of our nation's industrialized food systems, we purchased 40 organic acres in SW Wisconsin in order to raise food for ourselves and other local families. Currently we raise Icelandic sheep, heritage Sweetgrass turkeys, broiler chickens and pigs, delivering monthly via CSA model to our customers.Our management methods follow organic principals and also managed grazing which improves forages and drastically reduces parasite loads naturally. Our critters receive no vaccinations or hormones or pharmaceuticals and are raised as naturally as possible, allowing them to express their innate behaviors such as foraging and eating a variety foods found in our polyculture meadows.If you'd like to try some of our lamb, chicken, turkey or pork please message me.
