Supporting the development of and managing key internal and external client relationships, to provide a contact point and to provide advice and facilitate various types of collaboration, research - including KTPs, consultancy, service provision. Assisting academic staff in aligning more closely with industry though support, communication, training and marketing activities. Working with the University of Manchester Intellectual Property Company Limited to support IP protection, licence agreement opportunities and spin-out company activities.

NANOTOX - An EU Framework 6 project looking at the impact of engineered nanoparticles on human health and the environment.As part of The Dust and Biomass Experiment (DABEX) and The Dust Outflow and Deposition to the Oceans (DODO) – A NERC SOLAS project, I also worked on investigating the mixing state of biomass burning particles and african dust by individual particle analysis using SEM and EDX.
