Designed and implemented complete automation suite to automate testing of all end to end scenarios for Tastefully Simple. Open Source languages Ruby, Watir were used in the Automation Scripts.Responsibilities included• Design a scalable and modular automation test framework that provided, ease of use as well as leveragability for future enhancements.• Test planning for all applications developed by the Engineering team on an on going basis. Writing Test Scripts using Ruby according to the test plans.• Validation of various test cases as well as Execution of the Automated Scripts.• Scripts used in the Integration testing phase as well as load testing and regression phases ofvarious Module during software lifecycle.This reduced the QA timelines for products by over 40%. The majority of the gains being in the regression/loadtesting phases and also improved the quality of the applications.
