•Completed a transformative two-semester clinical internship at a center for LGBTQIA+ youth of color, surpassing the required pre-graduation clinical hours for licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). Applied therapeutic techniques tailored to the unique needs of marginalized communities.•Conducted individual therapy with a caseload of 7 clients between the ages of 14 to 25 years old, ranging between different genders, sexualities, and racial identities.•Managed client documentation for a caseload of 7 clients, ensuring health information accuracy and compliance with privacy regulations; maintained up-to-date records to facilitate seamless therapy sessions.•Collaborated in youth programming at the drop-in center, which included book club meetings, make-up lessons, group conversations about healthy relationships and sex, as well as a name change clinic for transgender and non-binary youth looking to learn about legal name change•Directed case management for 7 clients in need for stable housing options, food security, as well as information and supplies for safer sexual health and wellbeing.
