• Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.• Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.• Pay supplier invoices in a timely manner.• Monitor debt levels and Pay any debt as it comes due for payment.• Ensure that receivables are collected promptly.• Issue invoices to customers.• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.• Handling banking activities and petty cash transactions of the firm. • Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance.• Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, and statements.• Process payroll in a timely manner.• Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.• Assemble information for external auditors for the annual audit.• Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested.• Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
