Quality Control Technician
Current1. Responsible for the day-to-day implementation and continuous improvement of food safety focused programs, including but not limited to, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Safe Quality Food (SQF) Food Safety and Quality systems, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), and Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) compliance.2. Identify and develop ways of improving the manufacturing process to improve efficiency and product quality.3. Implement, document and communicate quality control test results.4. Collaborate with production staff to ensure product quality.5. Ensure ingredient /product specifications are met by conducting test and communicate out of specification ingredient/product.6. Ensures quality control procedures are followed in compliance with company and regulations.7. Ensure best practices are being followed in compliance with company and regulations.8. Collaborate with production staff and QA by participating in variance and corrective actions.9. Ensures test instruments and scales are calibrated as required10. Responsible for administering, managing, and maintaining applicable quality control programs & policies.11. Maintain acceptable ingredient/product quality standards.
