To engage with the customer first, but to do so in a polite and appropriate manner. Working with unhappy customers allowed me to train my professionalism, as customer satisfaction is key. With a combination of these skill I was able to increase the customer-employee interaction satisfaction and attained a new satisfaction level within the company, which was recognised by the company that moved my department up from 30% to 70% standard upon our quarterly mystery shopper assessment.
