I bring with me experiences in areas of humanitarian aid, development and in working with civil society organisations and international consortiums.For the past 18 years in my career, I have been in middle and senior level positions in India and also internationally in Namibia, and Rwanda in Africa through voluntary placements that I have done with VSO for government departments in these two countries. I have managed diverse developmental programs and projects right through my career as a professional social worker. I have useful experience in managing multi-country consortiums.My technical expertise builds around Development communication, Advocacy, networking,capacity building and fundraising for income generation, I have helped initiate and sustain self-help groups in the community including self-help groups for income generation and have facilitated support from the community and important stakeholders in the community including the government for the same.Development communication through advocacy and awareness raising has been one of my key strength areas and I have been able to build quite significantly on this part of my skills repertoire
