As part of this initiative he is not only working on the strategies to logically consolidate or Merge the Microservice but is also taking care of Test coverage and any technical debts carried so far in the Journey for better optimization by Adopting and onboarding the Gen AI Tools such as Amazon Q Developer.Responsibilities• Develop strategies for consolidating multiple APIs into a unified, streamlined architecture that reduces redundancy and enhances efficiency.• Create a roadmap that outlines key milestones, resources, and timelines for consolidation projects.• Collaborate with engineering teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.• Act as the point of contact for API-related queries and provide regular updates to leadership on progress and challenges.• Ensure that APIs are designed according to best practices, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.• Lead the effort to standardize API documentation and versioning to enhance usability and minimize disruptions during transitions.• Develop an AI adoption strategy that aligns with the business goals, identifying areas where AI can drive efficiency, automation, and innovation.• Create a timeline for introducing AI solutions, from proof-of-concept to full-scale deployment.• Oversee end-to-end project execution for both API and AI initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.• Use agile or other relevant methodologies to track progress, manage risks, and resolve blockers.
