I was responsible for handling entire gamut of HR functions for the respective region ranging from Recruitment, payroll, maintenance of staff databases grievance handling and statutory compliances.Responsibilities • Handle the entire Recruitment process for field staff from release of advertisement to conducting written tests, personal interview, issuing offer letters and joining formalities. • Issuing of deployment letters viz. promotion, transfer etc. and handling full and final settlements. • Assist and advise employees in interpretation of various policies and HR procedures. • Conduct investigations on policy violations/misconduct and initiate appropriate disciplinary action. • Manage Payroll (Salaries and Incentives processing) for the branch staff • Maintain and update attendance, leaves, staff database and personnel files of all employees • Maintain Statutory compliances (Shop and Establishment Act licenses and the periodic renewal thereof, getting ESI Insurance numbers and cards, Getting PF and SSN forms filled and sent on time to HO) • Travel to branches and interact with employees to understand issues, concerns or grievances. Provide resolutions or appropriate solutions. • Conduct exit interviews, maintain attrition data. • Other duties as assigned from time to time based on organizational needs.
