I am a serial entrepreneur with extensive experience in ed-tech, publishing, and talent transformation, currently serving as Chairman & MD of Futurense Technologies.Futurense is a group with multiple divisions, all catered towards solving for AI advancement and AI skill development in India. Futurense Technologies’ zero-cost upskilling model trains and deploys highly skilled AI talent in Fortune 500 companies, making them a preferred partner for top global firms. Through Futurense Uni, we partner with IITs & IIMs to offer PG Diploma & degree programs in high-demand tech fields, equipping students with key skills for success in the industry. Futurense Campus integrates advanced curricula and industry partnerships within colleges to equip students with AI skills from the start. For those aspiring to study in the US, Futurense US Pathway offers a unique pathway by combining IIT certification with on-campus experience at leading US universities, providing Indian students with an efficient route to earning a Master’s degree in the US.With over 34 years in the field, I’ve worked across academia and established partnerships with IITs, IIMs, & many of the top 100 global universities. As Futurense grows, I’m looking forward to building more strategic partnerships to further expand our mission and provide greater opportunities to India’s tech talent.Earlier, to expand Wiley’s presence in India’s education industry, I established a joint venture between John Wiley & Sons and Dreamtech Press Pvt. Ltd, later becoming MD of Wiley India. I pioneered WileyNXT, a brand that revolutionized tech-enabled personalized learning & earned recognition from Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas 2020. I also founded Dreamtech Software, which helped launch examcram.com, a US-based e-learning platform for IT certifications, and Dreamtech Press, one of India’s leading publishing firms. My family business, Pustak Mahal, thrived under my marketing & sales strategies, a foundation that shaped my approach to growing brands.Among my achievements, I’m honored to have received the 'Business Excellence and Innovative Best Practices Academia Award 2019' from former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. I’ve also held several leadership positions, including Co-Chair of the FICCI Committee on Publishing, Past President of the Association of Publishers in India (API), and promoter-member of the Education Promotion Society of India (EPSI). Beyond my professional work, I am dedicated to empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs as a mentor and investor in edtech startups.
