With a diploma in Nautical Science from the International Maritime Academy, Chennai, I have a strong foundation in the theoretical and practical aspects of maritime studies, such as seamanship, meteorology, and ship construction. I acquired this degree in 2017, and since then, I have been applying my knowledge and skills in various marine operations as a deck cadet at VR Maritime Services Private Limited. As a deck cadet, I assist the officers and crew in tasks related to navigation, safety, and maintenance of the vessel. I have gained valuable experience in handling cargo, operating equipment, and performing inspections, as well as collaborating and communicating with the team. I have also demonstrated problem-solving and adaptability skills, as I have faced and overcome various challenges and emergencies on board. I am passionate about pursuing a career in the maritime industry, and I aspire to become a competent and qualified officer in the future. My goal is to contribute to the success and safety of the maritime operations, and to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
