Vikram Ahuja is originally from Chiangmai, Thailand. He completed his undergraduate work at Thammasat University in Bangkok, Thailand. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics with highest honors (Gold Medalist – First in Class, King Bhumibol’s Royal Scholarships) in 2008. Vikram spent two years after college working with ExxonMobil Thailand and KrungThai Bank PCL. Vikram was also a part-time instructor at Kaplan Test Prep International.Vikram has developed a number of initiatives and volunteer activities. A notable example is the Volunteer Direct Admission Tutoring Program for rural students Vikram co-founded in 2004. To date, the program has helped over two thousands rural high school students got accepted into top national public universities. In 2010, Vikram received full fellowships from Kelley School of Business, Indiana University to pursue a Ph.D. in Business degree with a major in Business Economics. During his PhD, Vikram has had full teaching responsibility various business and economics courses. Vikram also conducted a number of research projects that address strategic issues at the intersection of economics, finance, and marketing. His contributions are well regarded in the field. In recent years, Vikram has been invited to present at various world-class institutions, including Northwestern University, the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), and the Royal Economic Society at the University of Manchester. After graduation, Dr. Vikram rejoined Kelley School of Business as a Visiting Assistant Professor in Business and taught a number of undergraduate departmental courses as well as in the Kelley Direct MBA Program. In 2017, Dr. Vikram left Kelley to start his venture, HireQ.io, which specializes in AI and predictive analytics. Currently, Dr. Vikram is the Managing Director of Edison Motors and Executive Director of Giken Mobility. Edison Motors and Giken Mobility work closely with the Lamborghini family to develop innovative electric motorcycle models under the historic "Iso" brand. Our first model Iso UNO-X sets standards and pushes the boundaries of electric motorcycle development and automotive engineering. The vehicles are designed in Italy, engineered in Thailand, produced in Indonesia, and export to the world.
