HSE Officer with HAMAD BIN KHALID CONTRACTING CO., Doha QatarOct ’12 – Sep 18 Key responsibilities: Ensure permit to work is raised and precaution for safe work are adhered  Conduct regular risk assessment, surveys, and site inspection and system audits.  Formulate general safety procedures complying with HSE legislation and standards  Perform incident and accident investigation and present feasible corrective and preventive recommendations. Effective communication among site workforce Regular site safety inspection to identify HSE related hazards and their mitigation to minimize chances of incident Ensure the site complies with the relevant Occupational and Safety Legislation and the client’s safety requirements. Establish and maintain statistical data concerning all matters of health and safety, training programs which to provide a basis for further health and safety activities, to highlight trends for future action and to monitor and prepare regular reports of the project’s HSE performance. Conduct or coordinate worker training sessions for areas such as safety law and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment.  Carry out toolbox talks, impart HSE training, conduct fire & emergency evacuation drills, environment control and monitoring, inspection of scaffoldings, confined space and gas testing at the work site. Interact with all departments within the company to develop and implement Health and Safety programs Implementation of effective STARRT (Safety Task analysis and Risk Reduction Talk) briefing delivered by the site supervisor and engineers. Preparing & maintaining all HSE Documentation  Assisting in HSE audits
