CurrentClient: The Home Depot, Atlanta, GAWorking in the Store Inventory Management project which deals with the receiving of products at The Home Depot from Distribution Centers and verified/unverified vendors. THD associates receive products by scanning Freight bill number in mobile device which internally calls our services to verify the SKU's and quantities received by associates are correct.We get flat files as Advanced Shipment Notification(ASN) which is being processed at regular intervals and saved into RDBS tables.After that associates keyrec and detail the products by opening and counting sku's in boxes if the vendor is not certified. And in case of certified vendor, it will keyrec and auto detail it.Finally, it updates the received Sku's with quantity and damaged quantity and then report will be sent to finance for pay off.Tasks Performed:* I worked in development of Microservices using Spring Boot and deployed as a Cloud Run and GKE as a service in Google Cloud Platform.*We added changes to the existing java legacy applications for pushing ASN files to Storage Bucket in GCP.*Cloud Run microservice will read ASN files then process and store it in Spanner Database in GCP.*We also added to push JSON messages in GCP PubSub topics from Java legacy applications.*We push messages to Big Query from Service for reporting purposes.Environment: J2EE, Java 13, Microservices, Spring Boot 2.6.5, Cloud Run, GKE, PubSub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Scheduler, Spanner Database, Jenkins, Gradle.Client: NextEra Energy Resources, Juno Beach, FLWorked as a software developer in Cloud EWIS which is a cloud-based in-house developed time-series database that consumes over four million tags from 600 NextEra assets and serves the data via Excel, Ignition, cloud analytics tools.
