By streamlining these steps, I significantly reduced the preparation time, allowing for smoother and quicker tax filings.Job Responsibilities:Prepare and upload Federal Sales Tax data:Manage the preparation of sales tax data, involving over a million transactions per month across Pakistan, and ensure accurate and timely uploading of this data into the IRIS system.Assist in filing provincial sales tax returns:Support the timely filing of provincial sales tax returns for both the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Sindh Revenue Board (SRB), ensuring compliance with all provincial tax regulations.Update and maintain SKU taxation information:Regularly update the taxation details for the Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) list to ensure accurate application of tax codes and rates across products.Prepare customer invoices and resolve discrepancies:Generate accurate invoices for customers, collaborate with Key Account Managers and customers to address and resolve any invoicing discrepancies or issues.Assist with weekly income tax withholding deposits:Help calculate and ensure timely deposits of weekly income tax withholding, maintaining compliance with tax withholding laws and regulations.Assist the Lead and Head of Department with ad hoc tasks:Provide support to the Lead and Head of Department on various ad hoc projects and tasks as needed, ensuring timely completion and alignment with department goals.
