In the last few years, partially thanks to the pandemic, I experienced primary care giving in my country. During this time, I gained valuable work experience, but I also got an insight into the problems of the system. After gaining this experience, I can say that it was very insightful, in a way that it changed my primary interest as well. In the past, my passion was lifestyle medicine and prevention, however, today it's rather based on the critical care medicine and the problems of healthcare systems.As a future young doctor, I do not only want to be an expert in my chosen field of medicine and be able to provide the necessary care for my patients, but I also want to work for the improvement of healthcare, and for the long-lasting, sustainable health of my patients. I am interested in social issues too, as I believe a healthcare professional needs to have a “social-sensitivity” in order to see the fields of life and society where help and change is needed. I am also interested in the future of healthcare and innovation, because I believe it can facilitate patient and disease management, and the operation of the healthcare system. In order to be successful in my fields of interest I do the following: • I am an active member of the Budapest Medical Students’ Association where we deal with prevention.• I am a student researcher at the Department of Emergency Medicine of my university. • I participate events which revolve around the future of healthcare and innovation.• I keep myself up to date in these fields and I am open to new learning opportunities. :)
