I'm working as budget manager for ISTRAC, ISRO's nodal agency for providing ground station support for low earth orbit and interplanetary missions. As the principal budget analyst, it is my responsibility to perform the functions of budget planning, monitoring and control of the entire center's budget. My experience involves knowing the indepth requirements of various entities working for different areas towards the broader goal of ground segment support for space missions, planning the budgetary requirements and proposing the budget estimates, reporting the expenditure progress and fine tuning the procurement process in order to reach the targets. I also actively manage and steer the development of IT enabled services that help in reaching the budget targets, monitor the procurement activites, take part in various committees, steer the procurement towards realisation. My job also is to establish contracts with foreign agencies which support ISRO's mission requirements.

I gained domain expertise in the area of Budget planning and expenditure monitoring by effectively utilizing software tools and built accurate models for the management. I was instrumental in realizing more than 90% efficiency year on year w.r.t budget planning and actuals achieved at the end of year.

As navigation operations engineer, I have worked in the Navigation ground segment of Indian regional navigation satellite system. I was responsible for operationalization of ground stations supporting the Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC) by continuously tracking the navigation satellites in space. Along with this, I was responsible for ensuring 24/7 operations of numerous navigation ground stations spread across India. I was responsible for defining standard operating procedures in Indian Navigation Center (INC) which are followed till date.

As a spacecraft mission operations controller, I was responsible for Indian satellite assets in space by managing the telemetry, tracking and command operations. I have worked with biggest revenue generating satellites of ISRO and was responsible for spacecraft mission management of satellites like Resourcesat, Youthsat and Cartosat. I have meticulously planned and executed critical mission operations during my tenure as Spacecraft mission controller, leading to year on year successful operations of ISRO's satellites.
