Outbound Logistic : Responsibilities :- COIL Dispatch Co-ordination with PPC, Marketing & Production Dept. to ensure that material should be processed. Responsible for handling customers if material dispatch delays. Coil dispatch Own as well as Export as per customer required . Responsible for monitoring loading material as per Packing List. Responsible for inventory control. Responsible for monthly physical verification. Responsible for monitoring vehicle by transporter as per tender. End to End follow up for the shipments. Verification of Transporter’s Bills. Responsible for preparing transporter efficiency report.Inbound Logistic : Responsibilities :- COAL Coal Logistics movement of coal in different colliery through E-Auction & FSA by road & Rail . Inbound logistics of raw material movement from different mines to plant –transportation arrangement by road & rail to lifting the material within specified time. Liaison with Indian Railway for Indent placement, Rake Allotments &Supply, pre-paid freight payments etc. Dealing with MCL / SECL officials as and when required. Day to day planning for raw material & finished good movement from different supply area to distribution area. Proper Loading Supervision of Rail Rakes utilizing staffs to maintain the Chargeable Weight and avoid punitive charges, also loading of good quality coal. Proper reconciliation of RR Vs weighbridge report and with other documents being generated during unloading process from siding to plant . Inventory management for raw material & finished goods at plant & different stock yard. Handled entire documentation of imported steel scrap at Chennai port and dispatched it to JSL Jajpur plant

Lassoing with railways authorities to booking the indents for rakes, RR issuing, freight payment, short wagon / other reason related work. Planning for the handling of the raw material rake like clinker, fly ash etc. Supervising the day to day operation of unloading of rake, mechanically and manually. Shifting of raw materials like clinker, fly ash etc. from railway siding to respective destination during the specified timing. Supervising the loading of mini rakes and full rakes for the cement to various destinations. Handling of materials loading and unloading contractor for timely loading and unloading of materials and to release the railway rake within free time given by railway to avoid any demurrage. Handling of cargo movement by road, loading and unloading of trucks with maintaining of all record with stocks. MIS and daily reporting performance to senior management.
