I lead laboratory sessions where students experiment with underwater vehicles. My work includes:- Using and demonstrating the BlueROV2, a small-scale autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV)- Developing and implementing functionalities in ROS 2- Applying path planning techniques and Kalman Filters for state estimation

I contributed to a significant project for NRL (Norddeutsches Reallabor), advancing the development of a control strategy for converter-based power generation. This initiative is integral to the broader energy transformation towards renewable sources and electrolyzer utilization. Specifically, I was involved in implementing a grid-forming control strategy for converter-based power generation, incorporating: - Dispatchable Virtual Oscillator Control (dVOC) and- Limit Cycle MPC (LCMPC).

As a student research assistant, I contributed to the research conducted by two PhD students.- Designing and enhancing a testbench specifically for analyzing a mini linear-generator which is integrated into a wave-energy-converter. - setting up a Bachmann PLC, designing components using CAD- Collaborating in the initial phases of the SuSy (Sustainable DC-Systems) project, where I helped installing the PHiLsLab- configuring an InfluxDB database, implementing an HTTP interface between a Bachmann PLC and the database to facilitated the automatic logging of measurements
