Development of both structural and non-structural applications of Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC) such as pre-fabricated bathroom units (PBU), modular construction / pre-finished pre-fabrication volumetric construction (PPVC) , facades and cladding to increase productivity, enhance cost effectiveness and overcome construction challenges.

• Process and approve structural plans and calculations of various type of building structures submitted by Professional Engineers and Accredited Checkers• Perform audit checks on selected structures, conduct construction site checks and take proactive actions to prevent damages to adjacent properties• Investigate into complaints on buildings that are dangerous and assess their structural integrity and safety• Monitor and review development of advance and innovative use of construction materials such as glue laminated timber (Glulam), cross laminated timber (CLT) and ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC)

• Organisation Planning and Development (implementing BIM and Eurocodes, obtaining BIM funding, improving office systems such as hardwares and IT communications)• Structural Analysis and Design (new buildings, additions and alterations (A&A) works, earth retaining and stabilising systems, specialists’ items (facade cladding, railing) and temporary structures)• Project Supervision (coordination between authorities, architect, M&E engineer, quantity surveyor and contractor on structural related matters during tender and construction stages)• Authorities Submission (for structural plans, building plans, relevant department (LTA(Rail), LTA(Road), NParks, PUB) clearances, TOP and CSC)• Leading and supervising a team of 4 engineers by providing technical guidance, managing work plans and developing their technical competencies• Feasibility studies of design and build projects during tender stage with builder and other consultants

Project Management of a private residential development comprising seven 36-storey residential blocks (1703 units), twelve semi-detach villas, 3-storey basement car park and communal facilities (contract sum = S$723 million)• Coordination and management of consultants (architect, C&S engineer, M&E engineer, quantity surveyor) and main contractor• Reviewing consultants / contractor’s submissions of shop-drawings, materials, method statement s etc to ensure compliance with design brief and requirements• Reviewing tender documents and involvement in tender process for provisional sum contractsFeasibility Studies for land tenders, design development and main contract tender• Engaging architects, C&S engineer, M&E engineer and quantity surveyor at frontier development conceptualization• Conceptualization of development and design refinement (value engineering) to manage construction costs• Preparing development design brief, employer’s requirements and contract documents for main contract tender• Coordinating and managing project launch with internal departments, such as investment, marketing, design management and condominium operations
