As a Personnel Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps for 20 years, I led and supported various HR functions and initiatives, such as hiring, payroll, entitlements, and crisis management, for a large and diverse workforce. I graduated from American Military University with a BA in Management, which enhanced my skills in data analysis, decision making, and communication.Some of my notable achievements include implementing a new hiring process that sourced and interviewed over 200 applicants to fill 13 vacant positions, managing a staff of over 100 employees in support of over 10,000 accounts, overseeing a Crisis Management Team that disbursed over 5 million dollars to displaced service members and their families, and orchestrating and leading senior level meetings and briefs. I am proficient in using multiple software platforms and have a strong ability to source and decipher data to achieve quantitative information. I am motivated by the values of service, excellence, and teamwork, and I aspire to continue contributing to the HR field.
