I have excellent skills in data analysis using software tools such as SPSS, ANOVA, EXCEL; data collection/sampling, survey and data presentation. I have a comprehensive skill in analyzing remote sensing data especially land use change and climate change data . I also have extensive communication experience having taught in a high school for a period of two years. My writing skills are commendable; thanks to numerous writing training I have attended.I have adequate experience in fieldwork. I have worked as a research assistant in the research program that was organized by University of Bonn Germany, research topic: Contested features under Covid-19 and drought-a multi-dimensional risk analysis for food security in East Africa for a period of one year. My major task was data collection, analysis and report writing. I also partnered with Gottingen team from Germany in a sorghum research in Siaya County where we focused on: Impacts of induced soil drought on the productivity of three sorghum varieties. I was based in the field for five months and extensively conducted the field activities from field preparation to harvesting and data analysis. I have also worked as an intern and attachment at a busy analytical lab at Kenya marine and fisheries Research institute. At KMFRI I was responsible for sampling, data collection, quantitative analysis in- situ and ex-situ as well as data evaluation and presentation for a period of six monthsI have good academic achievements ,I graduated with first class honors in BSc Biological Sciences
