Sports & Language is a division of the English Schools Foundation "ESF" an international school organisation. Responsible for providing and delivering extra-curricular sports to children four months up across Hong Kong. Led and managed multi-disciplinary coaching teams across numerous sports and activities, including 25+ full-time and 300+ part-time staff in an educational, commercial environment. • Responsible for driving sports strategy for the long-term growth of sport participation in ESF against the annual operational plan, as well as overseeing multi-million dollar yearly budgets• Overseeing the strategic direction and the day-to-day operations of running the After-School and Competitive Sports programmes in the following sports:*Basketball *Football  *Swimming Lessons *Gymnastics *Tennis *Fencing *Sailing *Sports Camps *Preschool Sports *Badminton *Dance *Fencing *Krav Maga *Lacrosse *Netball *Rugby *Hockey

Works closely with the Director of Sports (DoS) to assist with the running and implementation of the ESF Sports programmes operationally and ensure a cohesive and broad-minded approach to Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) sport in general and work closely with the administration team to oversee the smooth operation of ESF Sports.Manage, monitor and oversee the development and implementation of current outsourced sports (e.g. Gymnastics, Kung Fu and Tennis) and any new courses and sports. Assist the DoS in developing and delivering the Sports department's overall strategy and objectives, assisting with the creation and implementation of change processes. Oversee the marketing strategy for sports and communicate with the Marketing department to ensure regular reporting and updating of ESF Sports news, e.g. website, banners, social media and other sources.

Responsible for leading and managing the ESF Sports Swimming section and effectively delivering the ESF Sports Swimming Programs. Develop programs and facilitate a broad range of swimming-based activities ensuring progressive athlete development and safety.

As the Aquatics and Recreation Manager at Saudi Oger Ltd., I was responsible for setting up and managing the recreational facilities and programs at KAUST, a world-class research university and community. I developed and implemented the Policies and Procedures for the department, ensuring compliance with safety standards and best practices. I also organized and supervised various programs and events for the KAUST community, such as swimming lessons, fitness classes, sports tournaments, and cultural festivals.I oversaw the following facilities and coordinated their launches and handovers: - The Harbor Sports Club, which includes a gym, multipurpose halls, squash courts, a climbing wall centre, a bowling alley, and a cafe.- The Island Recreation Center, which features a beach club, a water park, an outdoor pool, and a tennis centre.- The Safaa Gardens Recreation Center, which offers a lap pool, a leisure pool, a splash pad, a playground, and a picnic area.- The Community Parks included skate parks, basketball courts, soccer fields, cricket pitches, and running tracks.I was proud to be part of the team that created and maintained these state-of-the-art facilities and programs for the KAUST community. I enjoyed working with diverse staff and customers from different backgrounds and cultures. I also learned a lot from the challenges and opportunities that came with managing such a large-scale operation in a dynamic environment.

As the director of the Aquatics Center at an Ivy League University, I was responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility, which included managing staff, scheduling events, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety standards. One of my main achievements was establishing a successful learn-to-swim program that attracted students, faculty, staff, and community members of all ages and skill levels. The program generated revenue for the centre and promoted aquatic education and wellness. Another accomplishment was to reduce the operational costs of the centre. I made the Aquatics Center self-funded and profitable while providing high-quality service to the university and the community.
