I have been in Executive roles in the health sector for over 20 years. This has encompassed strategic planning, budgeting, staff, patient and doctor engagement and adherence to financial aspirations for the organisation that I represent.I am proud to say that I have contributed to performance turnarounds as well as greenfield development (two mental health facilities) and have had a number of successes. In one acute medical and surgical hospital, which had been experiencing significant losses, a turnaround resulted in positive surpluses, well above budgetary expectations within two financial years. This was achieved through enhanced reputation and a subsequent shift in casemix. In another hospital, I oversaw a $7M improvement in EBITDA in the first year of the role.I have a proven track record in staff engagement, with several organisations that I have managed recording a culture of Success, as measured by staff surveys undertaken by Best Practice Australia.
