About Vincent Busch
Bij Sarphati Amsterdam werk ik met heel veel plezier en toewijding aan het verbinden van praktijk, beleid en wetenschap om er zo aan bij te dragen dat onze jeugd gezonder en gelukkiger opgroeit. Dit betekent dat ik samen met mijn collega's - met name voor de Amsterdamse Aanpak Gezond Gewicht - via wetenschappelijk onderzoek kijk of wat er wordt uitgevoerd werkt, wat daaraan goed gaat en wat eventueel nog beter kan. Het betekent ook dat ik het beleid en de praktijk adviseer over, en ondersteun met, inzichten uit (wetenschappelijk) onderzoek om dat beleid en die praktijk beter werkzaam te maken. Centraal in ons werk van onderzoek, interventie-ontwikkeling en beleidsadvies staat de holistische systeem-benadering (system science), waardoor we niet alle verantwoordelijkheid voor een gezonde leefstijl bij het kind of de ouders leggen, maar waarbij we de totale leefwereld en (sociale) omgeving proberen gezonder in te richten om optimaal impact te hebben op het gezond en gelukkig opgroeien van jeugd.Ik vind het geweldig om in deze rol als wetenschappelijk onderzoeker zoveel mogelijk positieve impact op de maatschappij te hebben.
