I began my career in the casino industry in 1997, working globally on cruise ships and in Mayfair, London. I transitioned to academia in 2017, after completing an Access to Higher Education course in Computing, and subsequently graduated with First Class Honours in Computer Security and Forensics.My extensive experience in the casino industry honed my internal and external customer service skills. I was responsible for training new staff on procedures and enhancing the croupier skills of current employees, which strengthened my communication and management abilities. During my studies, I was selected as a peer mentor, assisting struggling students to achieve their goals and improve their confidence and time management. My academic excellence was recognized with the University's award for Best Student in the first year and the Student of the Year award by the Chartered Institute of Information Security in my final year.I have a keen interest in Cyber and information assurance and I have demonstrated the ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information, supported by significant work experience in police cybercrime hubs. Currently, I am a member of the Identity Access Management team at Vocalink.
