Join is the collaborative project delivery platform for the built environment. As the Lead Solutions Engineer, my primary responsibility is to provide technical demonstrations of the Join software to prospective customers. This requires an in-depth knowledge of both the construction industry generally and the specific workflows in the preconstruction process. Each demonstration is unique to a prospective customer's needs and pivoting real-time to provide solutions to those needs is a key aspect of my position.Within this role, I've also gained invaluable experience in product marketing, industry-specific sales enablement, and various other roles typical of a SaaS company.

As an Assistant Preconstruction Manager, I have the unique and comprehensive opportunity to see a project from its inception as an initial budget to its execution as a running operation,Towards the earlier stages of the preconstruction process, my tasks include creating budgets based off historical data and subcontractor input. I aid in the process of presenting these budgets to Bozzuto's clients, all while making sure that we are providing a product within the client's budgetary needs. I see these projects through various stages of the bidding and document-progression process until the project is ready for full buy-out. From there, my tasks include authoring scopes of work for subcontractors, purchasing subcontractors within the means our budgets, and releasing critical materials so that projects can begin quickly and successfully.

As a Project Engineer on Clark’s Armature Works Project, I’ve been able to handle the Submittals, Change Orders, Requests for Information, and various other tasks related to the building envelope of this multi-building venture. Whether it be coordinating the work of subcontractors, analyzing drawings and product information, or handling project financials, this experience has given me insight into what it means to be a proficient project manager.

As a Purchasing Engineer, I had the opportunity to marry the contractual, technical, and financial sides of construction. In this role, I drafted scopes of work to ensure that each subcontractor had the appropriate and necessary work laid out in contractual form, reviewed drawings and subcontractor proposals to make sure there were no discrepancies between what was needed and what was being provided, and ultimately hired subcontractors with regard to a previously established budget. My day-to-day activity comprised of interacting with trade-specific subcontractors, corresponding important information to Clark executives, and organizing information on commonly used computer programs, like Microsoft Excel and Word.

As a Field Engineer, I had hands-on experience with the physical construction and day-to-day operations on site. In this role I initiated the “next step” in the construction sequence of work to ensure timely installation, monitored the work being put in place from both a safety and constructability stand-point, and ultimately checked the work via surveying tools, Building Information Modeling (BIM), AutoCAD, and other various computer softwares.

Internship position within South Whitehall Township's engineering department where I was expected to provide maps, topography, and utility information through use of various computer programs. I was exposed to multiple aspects of field engineering, surveying, municipal engineering, utility management, and engineering RFPs (Request for Proposals). In this position I became proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, ArcGIS, ArcMap, various surveying tools, and other relevant tools in the field of Civil Engineering. In addition to this, I was expected to be in constant communication with my boss to make sure that the needs of the township workers, Environmental Protection Agency, and Pennsylvania Department of Transportation were met.
