I also worked as a specialist in the cost calculation team of Ihku-alliance. My main task and responsibility in the project was the upkeep and gathering of price information for over 2000 input components, such as materials, personnel and machinery. All input prices were also updated twice a year.

I was working mainly as a specialist in the alliance developing The Infrastructure Cost Management System (Ihku). The Ihku project aims to create a new cost management solution for the needs of various infrastructure projects in Finland. I focused on gathering cost data for different materials, machines and works as a part of the cost estimation team. My thesis was also made for the alliance researching economies of scale in infrastructure projects to improve the accuracy of the estimation solution. Outside of the Ihku project I was working with Bluebeam Revu software, performing sales and marketing activities, providing training in quantity takeoffs and construction site planning using the software.
