Current- Ensure meticulous documentation of test procedures and data in accordance with laboratory Good Documentation Practices.
- Demonstrate proficiency in microbiological techniques, executing tasks with aseptic precision and a comprehensive understanding of standard operating procedures.
- Execute microbiological analyses, focusing on sample enrichments, plating, isolation streaks, microscopy, and utilization of various instruments such as: Hygiena BAX PCR, BioMerieux VIDAS, Dynex DS2 SOLUS, Bruker.
- Conduct diverse microbiology tests including cultural methods, polymerase chain reaction, immunoassay, oxidase, and catalase testing.
- Engage in external proficiency testing and laboratory audits to uphold laboratory accreditation from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the Association of Official Analytical Chemists (AOAC).
- Certified trainer of more than 50+ methods and procedures.
