Current• Ensure meticulous documentation of test procedures and data in accordance with laboratory Good Documentation Practices.• Demonstrate proficiency in microbiological techniques, executing tasks with aseptic precision and a comprehensive understanding of standard operating procedures.• Execute microbiological analyses, focusing on sample enrichments, plating, isolation streaks, microscopy, and utilization of various instruments such as: Hygiena BAX PCR, BioMerieux VIDAS, Dynex DS2 SOLUS, Bruker MALDI-TOF, and Bio-Rad iQ Check Prep & CFX, while also maintaining these instruments.• Conduct diverse microbiology tests including cultural methods, polymerase chain reaction, immunoassay, oxidase, and catalase testing.• Engage in external proficiency testing and laboratory audits to uphold laboratory accreditation from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the Association of Official Analytical Chemists (AOAC).• Certified trainer of more than 50+ methods and procedures.
