CurrentTrivium symbolises a break from present convention in more ways than one. With political and social sciences research concentrated in and around New Delhi, Trivium intends to loosen the capital-centric shackles, giving voice to opinions from South India and beyond. Further, while academic research inherently has an elitist, closed-circle nature to it, particularly in India, Trivium aims to use the reach of modern technology to simplify social sciences research for the benefit of the society it is for. One of the core ethos of Trivium is to approach issues with an inter-disciplinary outlook because for practical implementation of projects, understanding all angles is a must. Our focus ranges from the ongoing global environmental crises and adaptation, including through adopting sustainable lifestyle practices; India's foreign policy and strategic culture; and theoretical constructs of power and influence in international politics and negotiations.
