- Conduct research and monitor trends in Vietnam renewable energy sector to generate ideas, recommendations, and write in-depth, high quality and timely research on market developments - Participate in business development (e.g. exploration, identification, evaluation, and execution of new investment opportunities) efforts directly and in conjunction with the broader team; utilize experience and industry relationships to develop new opportunities in Vietnam renewable energy sector - Gather and synthesize industry/market/project data to develop and review financial models for greenfield development, brownfield acquisition, and financing of renewable energy projects - Conduct valuation analysis for renewable energy projects using various methodologies (discounted cash flow, comparables, precedent transactions, asset-based valuation, discounted dividend, amongst others) - Provide financial & commercial evaluation of investment opportunities - Prepare investment proposals for senior management, Exco and/or Board approvals

- Analyzing M&A deals at both the corporate level and project level: + Corporate level: evaluating companies have large investments in power plants, water treatment & distribution, industrial parks, residential & commercial properties, BOT infrastructure, and electric equipment. These companies include both listed and unlisted ones. + Project level: conducting opportunities in power generation sector (hydropower, wind power, coal-fired plants) and real estate sector (both residential, commercial and hospitality properties in many regions of Vietnam). - Exploring and examining short-term investment opportunities in the stock market. These companies focus on similar sectors to Gelex: infrastructure, construction material, residential, and hospitality properties. - Building the group financial model, evaluating the current situation, and proposing improvement solutions for Gelex’s investment in subsidiaries. - Doing monthly and quarterly economic reports to provide the management team the latest news and insight about macro-economy and industries that is relating to Gelex’s business. - Conducting divestment and partnership opportunities with strategic investors. - Performing in-depth analysis to determine new business models that can create synergy value with the existing operation of GELEX

- Covering the industrial sector that includes building material producers (steel, plastics, cement, etc.), construction companies, and power generation plants (both hydropower, solar power, wind power, coal-fired and gas-fired plants). - Interacting with coverage universe to gather all updated information about industry and company business. - Building financial models, and industry data and responding to institutional investors’ queries - Performing periodical stock pitching presentation to clients and firm brokers - Supporting Investment Banking Department in analyzing the business situation of clients
