Hello! My name is Vinicius, a 18-year-old from São Paulo, Brazil, with a passion for education and biological sciences, especially in their applications in healthcare. As a public school student, I firmly believe in education as a powerful tool for transformation. During my time at IBEP, I had the opportunity to develop digital graphic arts aimed at promoting political education and access to academic opportunities, participating in projects like IBEP Model United Nations, Unlocking Geopolitics, and other political-informative posts. In 2023, we were honored to be recognized by the Federal Government, joining an interministerial working group dedicated to combating and preventing school violence, which led to the creation of a guide on perspectives of this issue. Later, I was selected to participate in the Latin American Leadership Academy, where I deepened my understanding of leadership and socio-emotional skills, learning how to integrate them into impactful social initiatives. Undoubtedly, these experiences were instrumental in my acceptance into the 2024 Youth Ambassadors program, promoted by the U.S. Department of State. I had the honor of being one of 46 young people selected from 9,000 applicants to represent Brazil, strengthening Brazil-U.S. diplomatic ties and engaging in leadership and social impact initiatives. I am excited to continue my learning journey and contribute to a better world through education!
