10+ years with a mid-size non-profit (paired with relentless curiosity) has given me a broad skillset. I’ve done everything from grantwriting to staff recruiting and onboarding to budget creation. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from the University of Nevada, Reno and completed a Masters in Music Therapy in Cambridge, England. Music therapy coursework sparked an ongoing fascination with the interpersonal connective potential of music, which informed my work in Education and Community Engagement with the Reno Philharmonic from 2012 to 2023. Connection and collaboration are at the heart of everything I pursue. As a resident of Reno, NV, I've had unique opportunities as a violinist, including performing in casino showrooms with artists including Anne Murray, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and Evanescense. I'm a PatronManager (built on Salesforce) Certified Database Administrator, and I enjoy both spreadsheets and symphonies. I joined the staff team in the Washoe County Clerk’s Office in late 2023, and am loving the new setting and challenges!
