JOB PROFILE Responsible for Leading PDMS 3D Modeling of Piping & Arrangement, Equipment Modeling, Cable Tray & Project deliverables document within manhour budget and project schedule. Project Contract Review and Prepare comments for deviation and clarification. Coordinates with project personnel, vendor’s representative and project field personal to gather and give information. Review & prepare comments on vendor’s documents. Provide Technical guidance & assigns work to Designers and others who assist in performing specific assignment. Provide necessary inputs to other disciplines. Overall Layout of Heat Recovery Steam Generator including Piping, Equipment and platforms in accordance with Contract and requirement using PFD / P&ID. Equipment Layout & finalization of Nozzle orientation as per layout feasibility, process, operational, maintenance and access. Attending Model Review meetings at client location / in house and updating the customer comments. Terminal Point interface clearing with customer. Coordination with stress and pipe support Engineer. Checking of Isometrics with BOM in correlation with P&ID, end connectivity, process line list and other vendor documents. Extraction / Checking of piping BOM and providing technical assistance to vendor / mill for procurement. Checking / Review of 3D Model using Navisworks / PDMS / Resolve clashes and PDMS Spec. Creation. Extraction / Checking of piping general arrangement drawings. Estimation & Regular tracking of Man-Hours upto completion of a project. Planning of piping delivery schedules based on overall schedule of project. Allocation of activities to other design engineers and providing technical assistance on day to day work. Tracking Progress of piping deliverables and maintain quality of deliverables. Coordination with other engineering groups / disciplines. Developed a third Party Vendor (Quest-Bangalore) for small & Large Bore Piping Layout and Isometrics
